Weeks 4 & 5
My older cousin Luke, we are just a year apart!
My first play date with Skyden who was born just 10 days after me!
Week 3
The sleepless nights started to catch up on us (a serious case of eye bags and dark circles) as Dylan was nursing every 2-3 hours. His facial features started to change and his eyes grew bigger. It was still that guessing game of who did he look like, mom or dad?
The family enjoyed their first Halloween with a quiet night at home with some pumpkins. A drastic change from the years prior where we would dress up in costume and be at the bars until the wee hours of the night!
One of the many rookie mistakes documented to date, Matt and I gave Dylan his first bath with his diaper on...we were quite afraid of explosive poo or to get peed on, but we quickly realized, it's easier to deal with poop and pee in water, rather than a soaked diaper!
Week 2
As first time parents, those first weeks are filled with mixed emotions. We were overwhelmed with happiness to finally meet Dylan. But at the same time, we were struck with "new parent" jitters and were trying to figure out how to hold him properly, understand his cries, and just learn how to keep this thing alive!
